The better question is why do US telcos know that calls are telemarketers or dangerous spam calls yet just label them and send them through?
What’s the point of folding phones?
Until they get the thickness down a good bit more the tradeoffs don’t feel worth it, but having something that is usually phone sized that can expand to iPad size would be very useful imo.
