People scared of AI becoming sentient, yet google photos is still not smart enough to intuit that I didn’t hop over to Thailand during my trip to the Texas Hill Country.
How to Speak Machine – ★★
Turned out to be pretty entry level book. Maeda spends the majority of the book’s 200 pages explaining the basics and extolling the value of UX research, product design, agile delivery, and iterative development and comparatively little on the actual premise of the book.

NNG and AI articles
Pretty much half of the recent NNG articles recently have been about generative AI/chatbots: nngroup.com/articles/ Some of them are interesting, some of them are pretty empty. Guessing in general putting out five truly riveting articles per week on usability is tough.
Interesting to see them so heavy into AI including most of the recent articles from Jakob Nielsen himself.
