Why don’t telcos block known spam risks and telemarketers?
The better question is why do US telcos know that calls are telemarketers or dangerous spam calls yet just label them and send them through?
Shazam hits 100 billion, mostly from my kid
Approximately 1% of these are from 9 year old who discovered she can Shazam from her watch a couple weeks ago.
She especially loves when she’s one of the first 50 people to ever Shazam a song like she has been on a bunch of random Broadway musical deep cuts.

Interesting background on the history of Pixar, good thoughts on fostering a creative culture, and really liked the focus on giving and receiving difficult feedback, but disappointed in the fact that every anecdote seemed to end with “and then the team worked 100 hour weeks for months and never saw their family but we got it done.” Or “then they worked two straight weeks instead of taking their Christmas vacation.”
