Yahoo lays off the leaders of Engadget to focus on SEO “content.” It hasn’t been the same in a long time but I’ve checked Engadget several times per day for close to 20 years and this news that they’ve fired a bunch of people to focus on SEO is super depressing. Guess it might be finally time to replace the bookmark with something else.

120 years overdue library book
Someone returned a book to a Pennsylvania library 120 years overdue. It was checked out in 1904. I guess I feel a little less bad about that book my kid lost for 3 months now.
